Show Your Business Some Love – COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Eligibility

1. Weekly Prize:
   • In order to be eligible to win the Weekly Prize, you must have completed a full business funding application or drawn down on a capital facility within the Competition Period. In order to complete a funding application, the business must meet Lulalend's minimum requirements:
     • The business must have been actively trading for at least 1 year;
     • The business must have a minimum annual turnover of R500 000 (five hundred thousand Rand);
     • If you are a Sole Trader – your business must be VAT registered;
     • The business must be based in the Republic of South Africa.

How to enter

1. Weekly Prize:
   • You are automatically entered into the Valentines Draw when you complete a new Lulalend funding application or draw down on a capital facility during the competition period. To do that, you need to:
     • Visit lulalend.co.za
     • Select 'Apply Now'
     • Complete the application, including the submission of the financial information needed for an assessment and obligation free quote.
     • Or contact Lulalend on 087 250 0014 and complete an application with a Business Funding Specialist, including the submission of the financial information needed for an assessment and obligation free quote.
   • In order to win the prize, you do not need to accept our quote for funding or use our services in any respect.
   • If you do not wish to be entered into the draw, please notify us by email [support@lulalend.co.za] as soon as possible after receiving your confirmation email.

Competition Period

• The Competition Period will run from 06:00 01 February 2021 until 23:59 on 28 February 2021 ("Closing Date").

Prize, winner selection and notification

1. Weekly Prize
   • On a date to be determined by Lulalend within 28 days of the Closing Date, the Weekly Prize winners will be randomly selected by us, using a web-based randomised number generator, from all eligible funding applications completed within the Competition Period.
   • The winner will be notified via e-mail and/or phone call.
   • Should we be unable to reach the winner for a period of 72 (seventy two) hours from the time of the draw, we reserve the right to select another replacement winner using the process set out above.
   • Once the identity of the winner has been confirmed and the winner has accepted the Weekly Prize, the chosen prize will be arranged by Lulalend and its prize suppliers.
2. General
   • Lulalend's accountant or attorney will be the appointed auditors for this competition.
   • The judges decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
   • Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, the winner/s accepts the prize at its own risk and Lulalend will not be liable for any costs incurred by the winner/s in claiming their prize (including any taxes, bank charges, or other fees). Lulalend cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, or loss of property experienced as a result of winning, accepting and/or using the prize money.
   • Entries, which are duplicated (in either substance or form, in Lulalend’s sole discretion), or which are unclear, illegible or contain errors, will be declared invalid. Any technical failures that leads to any promotional competition entry being invalid or not received will not be Lulalend’s responsibility and Lulalend will not be held responsible for technical errors.

Additional Terms and Conditions

• There is no entry fee to enter the Valentines Draw.
• Lulalend reserves the right to cancel or amend the Valentines Draw and these terms and conditions at any time prior to the Closing Date in its sole discretion. Lulalend will notify applicants of any changes to the competition as soon as possible.
• Lulalend is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any applicant by any third party who is not a representative or authorised by Lulalend and connected with this competition.
• The winner/s agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material and has the right to decline the use of their image in our marketing material by notifying us via an email prior to the end of the competition. Any personal data relating to the winner/s will be used solely in accordance with the Lulalend Privacy Policy, which is accepted by you at the time of making a funding application. Other than as may be required in law, or to our auditors or attorneys to satisfy the terms of this competition, a winners personal information will not be disclosed to a third party without the winners prior consent.
• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other social network or radio station. You are providing your information to Lulalend and not to any other party.
• Notwithstanding any provision of these terms and conditions, the winner may not be a director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Lulalend or marketing service providers in respect of the Friends in Funding Draw, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. In the event that the winner is any of the aforementioned persons, Lulalend reserves the right to draw a new winner until such winner is not any of the aforementioned persons.
